Hello dear readers
Once again I'm confined, alone in my home but unlike the Corona period when I was in my best creative crafting mood, on these, too many days of war I am doing very little crafting except for making a very few flowers, a craft that calms me and makes me think of a better world. It's like I've already been there (Déjà vu) only this time far more dangerous. In our sheltered space, sitting with my neighbors when there is a missiles attack, we feel as if there is a Russian Roulette game going on, will a missile hit our building or miss?
With Halloween around the corner, and wanting to do my utmost not to disappoint Baalatova, my ancient witch, I'll try to tell you her latest news in my next post.
Until then, I wish you a great weekend, calm and safety,
Besos, xx
Thanks so much, Dearest Drora, for letting us know that you are okay. It is hard to imagine you being in this horrendous situation and so frustrating that all I can do is keep you in my prayers. What works for me when I am on the verge of succumbing to my panic is the mantra "Don't think: Do!". And because you are wise and have lived such a long, good life I bet you have some version of the same. Stay busy on what you can and remember to trust God with all of your heart. Hugs 💗
ReplyDeleteDear Jodi,
DeleteIt's a really frustrating situation. We cannot retaliate and get down to the enemy's level of inhuman behavior.
I'm being well cared of by my family. Both my daughters asked me to come stay at their homes. I refused because here I can occupy myself and stay busy between one air raid and another.
Hugs xx
Beautiful flowers, I agree, with you making flowers is very soothing. Thank you for letting us know that you are fine, nevertheless fear must be with you very often. I'm thinking of you.

Yes, it's good to know that you are okay and that you try to cope with this horrible situation as good as it's possible for you. It's totally understandable that your creativity doesn't show up these days, but I think making some flowers is the best choice to keep occupied, perhaps forgetting circumstances for at least a little while and having something beautiful in your hands in the end.
ReplyDeleteMy very best wishes and big hugs
