Decorating shells

I saw a beautifully decorated, 1:1 size, pilgim's shell made by Chelo - http://elrincondechelo.blogspot.com/ and loved it.
With Chelo's kind permission, I began experimenting with mini shells.  Mine are not even close to Chelo's beautiful one but I'll keep experimenting., to get better results.



Thank you Mely, Fabiola and Sans for your advice.  I am now using Google Chrome and able to make comments.   I get translations, as a bonus.  Before I only understood the Spanish and English blogs and had to guess from pictures what went on.

    I love your beautiful shells, Drora! Did you pait them--they're gorgeous! Congrats on switching to Google Chrome! I love how much faster blogs load now that I've switched.     I am not a big seashell art fan but I really liked the decoupaged prints you made with your plates :). In India, the women a lot of cowrie shells in their embroideries. I am now looking for the tiniest cowries to replace the barley seeds that I have been using. :)
