Hello dear readers
This weekend was spent on carpentering. I still haven't chosen what colors the furniture will be.
Maybe a shabby chic white paint or a sunny color which will suit these crudely made dresser and chairs.
Personally, I love blue and use it frequently. I am not sure how it will go with the large table.
For the dresser I used a wooden domino box and wood scraps. I hope the end result will look better.
Well, here is how they look now. Any suggestions about suitable colors will be most welcome.
If anyone is interested in making a chair like the ones shown below, here is my step by step tutorial. You can't go wrong if you follow my instructions.
These two finished chairs, 1/12" and 1/24".
I hope to be able to show more details in my next post.
I wish you a wonderful Sunday and blessings to all.

Your furniture is so very nice. and your tutorials on the chairs is really good, it looks somehow difficult, with all the string to be sewn. I'm also a fan of blue.

NICE furniture! I like your blue a lot so for me it would be a great choice!.:) But I am sure you will pick the best colour to suit your table as well.Hugs
ReplyDeleteYour furniture is wonderful. For the color: I like white.
ReplyDeleteHug, Faby
If you like blue then go for blue... at least for the chairs. And maybe some blue accents for the cupboard which I would paint mostly white to let the blue chairs shine bright. But it's your choice, not mine - and whatever you're doing, I know it will be great in the end! ;O)

Hello Drora,
ReplyDeleteI think the chairs and the dresser are great! I think blue or a pale green might be really nice colors. Thank you for the tutorial.
Big hug,

Hi Drora Your chairs are lovely and I like the blue colour. I wil be much less active on blogspot of a while, due to several causes in my daily life. Take care and have fun making mini's!

Great chairs! well done (and you choosed beautiful color). Hugs, Magda
ReplyDeleteYour furniture already look promising! I can't suggest colors, I like so many of them... :) But I would definitely stick to "non-bright" colors, for furniture. They may work in real life furniture, but look too bright in miniature, I think...
ReplyDeleteEsas sillas han quedado muy bonitas, me gusta el azul.
ReplyDeleteBesos Narán
More beautiful work. These are amazing. x
ReplyDeleteLove the blue chairs! Beautiful colour.
ReplyDeleteI love your furniture. Love all kinds of blue from the very pale to darker shades. Blessings, Pam

These are wonderful chairs. I like this blue colour very much for a kitchen. I can see it in my mind with a shabby antik white closet andcheckered tablecloth.. soooo cozy... Can´t wait to see more!

Voi miten hieno tuoli ja varsingin päälispunonta!
ReplyDeleteI mobili sono bellissimi, per i colori potresti usare bianco e qualche dettaglio blu come le sedie,un abbraccio,
ReplyDeleteMely
To paint white or paint color. This is something that I can never decide on. Anything that you do will look great. Of that I am sure.
ReplyDeleteMuch hugs, Conny
Que bonito te ha quedado , me encanta el color. Besitos.
ReplyDeleteI love what you are doing with this kitchen. The blue is a lovely soft shade. I am looking forward to seeing what you do next! Mini hugs Carol
ReplyDeleteWow was the expression when I viewed this victorian furniture at a store here in Croydn, London that
ReplyDeletehad the best of everything, starting from intricate hand carving, ornate wood work, rich hand polishing and gorgeous upholstery work that reminded me of that grand
Victorian Era when furniture design was simply gorgeous and sublime with extensive attention to detailing. Hope the luxury armchair that I bought for my country house
in Swindon, perfectly matches with the ambience.
