Seashells

Hello dear readers

It's already August and too hot to do anything but sort out the piles of shells I collected.
The tiny ones I'll keep. The larger will be given to the Elderly Day Care Center.

I decoupaged some shells which turned out quite cute.

And this is what a small pile of shells looks like

These are the shells I use for decorating little boxes and mirrors.

These will be given away.

There were also tiny pebbles which I'll keep for future use to decorate chimneys, walls, etc.

Just to let you know their real size.I love their colors.

The sea can be very generous to miniaturists.

Something happened to my followers list.  It says UNFOLLOW.  Besides, the number of followers decreased and I am not sure who are the new followers, so I'll just say WELCOME and thank you.

I wish you all a wonderful, peaceful weekend and blessings.

  2. A beautiful collection of shells and pebbles. I find that walking on the beach to colect shells is a very soothing activity.lucky you to live by the sea. I like what you've done with some shells.

  5. Oh!!! Me encantan tus conchas decoradas, Drora!

  8. Hi Drora, these are gorgeous little shells and I'm curious to see all the little things that you're going to create with them. The colored shells turned out lovely. I haven't been writing since long but I keep following you and hope you're doing well. Hugs, Susi

  9. Me imagino lo bien que lo has pasado recogiendo las conchas y piedras . Es tan divertido como su posterior utilización.

  10. If this is a small pile of shells please remember to post a photo when you happen to sort shell sizes from a big pile... *LOL* But without kidding, your decorated shells are a lovely idea, the result looks beautiful. And although the hot temperatures keep you away from crafting it's a good alternative to prepare your shell supplies for being able to make a quick start in shell crafting when the temperatures get nicer - I'm looking forward to seeing those shells and pebbles on and in projects of yours!

    Hugs

  13. Hi Drora! Your new collection of tiny sea shells is beautiful, so enjoy to sort them out while it's too hot now to do something else. I loved the idea of the decoupage, your results are great. The tiny pebble stones can always come handy.

PS Thank you for your comment on my blogpost. You're right: the last few months I've made only many flowers, but they are for my next show in October. So thank you for waking me up: probably it's time to make something else in mini ;D!!

  14. Forgot to tell you that I also have problems with my blog: things like my readerslist, which is not complete and followers are vanishing like snow. I think it has something to do with Google Connect, but I'm not sure about that. Blogspot is teasing me since long.......:(

  15. Ohhhh, cuantas cosas bonitas que encontraste en la playa. Me encanta como quedaron esas conchas con decoupage. Madre mía, menos mal que has puesto la cerilla, no pensaba que esas piedrecitas fueran tan chiquitas, jiji.
    Besote!!!!!
