Solly's home 5

Hello dear readers, I hope those of you, who are on vacation, are enjoying yourself. My favorite vacations are short but several through out the year.
As you already noticed, I love using recycled materials for my minis. I finished the outdoor using egg-carton for the roof and walls. Kitty's home (My next project) will be separated from Solly's by a small garden.
To solve the problem of adding a faux window, I'm thinking of making two identical ones and glueing one outside and the other inside both facing the wall at the same point. The one inside will be covered by a curtain. {Lol, how I hate to saw more wood.) But even without a window Solly's house is ready to be inhabitate.
Baalatova came to inspect the house. Baalatova: Solly are you satisfied with your new home? Solly: Thank you I'm very happy with my new home. I love to fly up straight to bed, look at the big photo of my brother and sister. It helps me fall asleep and dream of them. Baalatova: Now it's already time to use my magic spell to make lazy Drora do Kitty's house.
I wish all my dear readers a wonderful weekend and blessings.

  7. Hi Drora, It looks like my comments have mysteriously disappeared again but I just wanted to say how much I love Solly's house and the idea of a place for Kitty with a shared garden. I love your work!

  8. I hope you're fine and not obeying the spell of your witchy room-mate... *LOL* However... it's kind of Baalatova thinking of Kitty and wishing her to get a home as lovely as Solly's very soon.

I've so enjoyed the progress on Solly's home - and it's easy to see that the little darling is over the moon with it. What a dream house... it may be very small but you managed to add everything a beary needs including books, tasty treats coming along in the shape of Rocher and pictures of his brother and sister. Btw it made me smile that you've chosen photos where the two are wearing their scarves for the small frames... let's hope there won't be sweat pearls appearing in your hot country. *LOL* But in all honesty, it really touches us - the furry guys and me - that Solly is dreaming under a huge picture of a certain flutterybeary and a special flower beary. I hope he will have the sweetest dreams in his beautiful bed.

Connecting the two houses with a garden is a brilliant idea and I can't wait to see more of this and of course Kitty's home. So you'd better hurry up... not because of my curiosity, oh no... but I don't suppose Baalatova is very good when it comes to being patient... *tweet*
