Plants and containers

Hello dear readers

There were these plastic chess pieces in my stash asking to be turned into "treasures".  A long time ago I used some to make cake holders (If I find the photos I'll show them.)  Together with these metal bead covers I made plant containers and rather like the results.  I remembered seeing something similar made of wooden pieces so the idea is not entirely mine.

This is how they look glued together

And this is how they look after I painted them white all over.  Ready to receive plants.

The geraniums I like best.

I wish you all a lovely weekend and blessings.

  1. Brilliant find. Simple but very effective. I love your geraniums. I am battling a geranium myself at the moment and find it very difficult. Any wisdom to share on the matter of geraniums is deeply appreciated.

    Besote!!!!!
