Hello dear readers
Yesterday our post lady delivered this lovely surprise from Kikka. It is always a pleasure to receive
gifts from overseas friends but it's delightful when they come unexpected.
An adorable baby cot kit which was very easy to assemble.
Some paper doilies, a very cute candle holder with candle, a paper weight, a cupcake in a triangle
paper box and a very yummy candy bar which vanished promptly.
Look how delicate the paper box is. It really is amazing how perfect it opens and closes.
It's funny how the paper doilies arrived when I was just trying to crochet ones with very poor results.
I hope with practice, my doilies will get better. The third one already looks a little better.

Lovely gifts but I especially like your crochet. I have been struggling with miniature crochet for a while now but am not sure if I will continue as it is just so so hard! But your work looks fab. Mini hugs, Carol :) x
