Kitchen furniture

Hello dear readers

This weekend was spent on carpentering.  I still haven't chosen what colors the furniture will be.
Maybe a shabby chic white paint or a sunny color which will suit these crudely made dresser and chairs.
Personally, I love blue and use it frequently.  I am not sure how it will go with the large table.

For the dresser I used a wooden domino box and wood scraps. I hope the end result will look better.

Well, here is how they look now. Any suggestions about suitable colors will be most welcome.

If anyone is interested in making a chair like the ones shown below, here is my step by step tutorial. You can't go wrong  if you follow my instructions.

These two finished chairs, 1/12" and 1/24".

I hope to be able to show more details in my next post.

I wish you a wonderful Sunday and blessings to all.

  1. Your furniture is so very nice. and your tutorials on the chairs is really good, it looks somehow difficult, with all the string to be sewn. I'm also a fan of blue.

  4. If you like blue then go for blue... at least for the chairs. And maybe some blue accents for the cupboard which I would paint mostly white to let the blue chairs shine bright. But it's your choice, not mine - and whatever you're doing, I know it will be great in the end! ;O)

  27. Your furniture already look promising! I can't suggest colors, I like so many of them... :) But I would definitely stick to "non-bright" colors, for furniture. They may work in real life furniture, but look too bright in miniature, I think...

  39. Wow was the expression when I viewed this victorian furniture at a store here in Croydn, London that

had the best of everything, starting from intricate hand carving, ornate wood work, rich hand polishing and gorgeous upholstery work that reminded me of that grand
Victorian Era when furniture design was simply gorgeous and sublime with extensive attention to detailing. Hope the luxury armchair that I bought for my country house
in Swindon, perfectly matches with the ambience.
