Working on the gallery again

The painting gallery has not been forgotten.  It's just that I needed a large room box. Now the box has arrived. So this what I managed to work on during the past week.

Special fixtures to hang the paintings on.

Two new chandeliers ready to be hung.  I found a glass necklace, purchased years ago in Prague, and exchanged some of the acrylic beads with the glass ones.

A narrow side table. I mean to place on it a vase of flowers and a visitors notebook for visitors to sign.
I made the table's legs from black, elegant cocktail forks.

For the floor I pieced together 3 pages of floor paper and covered it with a large piece of acetate.
The photo doesn't show it but in reality it's a smooth, shiny floor. I spent quite a few hours on making this floor but am satisfied with the results.

You will notice that I am using a lot of black and white.  The paintings when
they'll all hang together, will add a lot of color to the scene.
