Hello again,
Only a few days left before we celebrate our Pessah (Passover) Holiday. I can't see the logic of feverish house cleaning before this holiday when we are supposed to eat Mazzot, (dry sheets of crackers} which crumble easily and makes a great mess. Imagine a home full of children scattering crumbles for 7 days. Common sense tells me that better clean when the holidays are over. But tradition requires a clean and sparkling home for Pessah and who am I to oppose it.
While doing my part, cleaning and putting order in my work room, I found these little Pizza box-
separating plastic tables. Before throwing them away, I had a sudden idea to try and recycle them.
This is my first attempt of making eggshell mosaic. Now that I've done it, I know it could look
better if I used a layer of Jesso instead of tacky glue. One learns from experience. By the way, this could be a good occupation for the young ones, turning trash to treasure.
It will make a nice garden table. I want to add a mosaic bench but I have to get back to my spring
cleaning. There are so many things you could do with eggshell mosaic but alas, everyday life demanding work leaves little free time to enjoy doing it.
Blessings to you all
